In 2020, VA translated the vision offered by the 10-year National Strategy into operational plans of actions through the Suicide Prevention 2.0 initiative (SP 2.0).  SP 2.0 focuses on nationally implementing and operationalizing across a 6-year period, new and bundled community-based and clinically based services and programs reflective of the National Strategy to expand VA’s approach to prevent Veteran suicide nationwide.
