Continuing Education Credits

KBN Approval: Rockcastle Regional Hospital, Inc. has been approved as a provider of continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN). Provider #4-0059-12-24-042. Content Overview: provided will cover fall prevention, assessment tools, screening, individualized programs for the elderly, consequences and impact of falls, and issues to pay attention to when working with older adults. It is important that professionals working with the aging population are aware of the magnitude of the fall burden and how it threatens their safety and independence and increases the burden to individuals, including caregivers care providers, families, and society.

Social Work: This program has been submitted to the KY Board of Social Work for Social Work credit. (Credit Pending)

Community Health Workers: This training has been submitted to the Kentucky Department for Public Health Community Health Worker Program to provide Continuing Education Units for Certified Community Health Workers. (Credit Pending)
