Angie Kirby graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Arts in History and minor in Political Science, and a Master’s of Public Administration. Prior to coming to KIPRC in January 2020, she worked as an intern for the non-profit CASA of Madison County and as a Graduate Assistant for EKU’s Department of Government. Angie started on the Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE) for recovery housing to perform an environmental scan of Kentucky and moved to the Overdose to Data Action grant (OD2A) to assist in the development of FindRecoveryHousingNowKY.org. As the SUD Education and Outreach Coordinator, Angie is responsible for maintaining FindRecoveryHousingNowKY.org, providing assistance to operators, and providing presentations/trainings.
