Jacqueline provides expert scientific and technical leadership in designing and conducting epidemiologic investigations with an expertise in violent deaths.

Jacqueline Seals, DrPH is a Senior Epidemiologist with the Kentucky Injury Prevention Research Center (KIPRC). She received both her MPH and DrPH in Epidemiology from the University of Kentucky. She has been working with the Kentucky Violent Death Reporting System (KYVDRS) housed in the KIPRC at the University of Kentucky since 2015. As she continues her work with KYVDRS and KIPRC, she is now the PI of a contract working with the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (BHDID) studying the intersection between substance use disorders, suicides and intentional self-harm, and mental health to better understand the overlapping risk factors and points for interventions.
