The Kentucky Injury Free Academy (KIFA) is an initiative designed to support multidisciplinary teams in implementing violence prevention strategies using the Shared Risk and Protective Factors (SRPF) approach. This approach helps teams address multiple forms of violence by focusing on underlying community and societal conditions that contribute to both risk and resilience.

This Academy will take place in three parts, two 2-day sessions that will take place in-person and one 1-day session that will take place virtually. The sessions are scheduled as followed:

April Academy Dates:

In-Person Session: May 22nd and 23rd

July Academy Dates:

In-Person Session: July 28th and 29th

Location: Frankfort, Ky

September Academy Date:

Virtual Session: September 3rd
